This project consisted of renovating a garage floor by applying an epoxy coating, achieving a durable, resistant and aesthetically attractive surface.
1. Preparation of the Area: Deep cleaning: Removal of dust, grease and residue to ensure good adhesion of the epoxy. Floor repair: Sealing cracks and leveling imperfections for a uniform finish. Sanding or polishing: A specialized machine was used to open the pore of the concrete and ensure proper absorption of the product.
2. Epoxy Application: Base Coat: Application of a coat of primer to improve adhesion and prepare the surface for coating. High quality epoxy: Application of a mixture of epoxy resin in the selected color and finish, achieving uniform coverage. Decorative details (optional): Adding decorative chips or non-slip particles for a unique design and greater safety. Final coat of sealant: Application of a clear sealant to protect the epoxy and give it a shiny, durable finish.
3. Final Results: Renovated Surface: The garage now features a stain, abrasion and chemical resistant floor, ideal for everyday use. Modern Aesthetic: The epoxy coating gave the space a clean, professional finish, enhancing its overall appearance.
